Currently I am working on cognitive and motion-based analysis of vocal music pedagogy, the aesthetic and philosophical dimensions of raga-mala painting, and music’s role in the construction of place within cultural narratives. I am finishing up an extensive biography of Ustad Vilayat Khan, slated for release in 2013.
